Personalization and Printing Techniques
At Merchado, we specialize in personalizing premium merchandise and corporate gifts. On this page, you’ll find an overview of the various printing techniques we use to convey your brand and message in an exclusive and stylish way.
Hot Stamping
Hot stamping, also known as foil stamping, is perfect for adding a luxurious look to notebooks, bottles, and pens. This technique uses heat and pressure to apply a foil with a specific color or metallic finish to the surface of a product. The result is a glossy and durable finish that really makes your brand stand out.
Spot UV
Spot UV is a technique in which a transparent UV varnish is applied to specific areas of a product, such as bottles or notebooks. The UV varnish creates a glossy effect that contrasts with the item’s matte surface, resulting in an eye-catching, high-quality look. This is ideal for highlighting logos or other key elements.
Blind Embossing / Debossing
Blind embossing, also known as debossing, adds a subtle yet refined texture to your products. This technique creates a recessed relief in the material without using ink, making it ideal for notebooks and luxury gifts. Blind embossing can also be combined with other techniques, such as hot stamping, for an even more refined look.
All-Around Digital Printing
All-around digital printing allows you to print your entire design all the way around products such as bottles, mugs, and travel mugs. Thanks to digital printing technology, we can produce detailed and colorful designs, even for small print runs. This is ideal for personalized merchandise that stands out and raises your brand’s visibility.
All-Around Screen Printing
With all-around screen printing, we can apply a design in PMS colors across the entire surface of cylindrical objects such as water bottles and mugs. This technique ensures a uniform and professional appearance, accurately reproducing your brand’s corporate colors. Screen printing is particularly well-suited for large runs and offers durability and vibrant colors.
Engraving
Engraving is a durable and precise technique for personalizing metal, glass, and plastic items such as pens, bottles, and keychains. Using machine engraving or laser engraving, we can apply detailed designs and text, creating a permanent and exclusive look.
Pad printing
Pad printing is ideal for printing on three-dimensional objects or products with uneven surfaces, such as pens, mugs, and other small items. Using a flexible silicone pad, ink is transferred from an engraved plate onto the object, resulting in sharp and clear prints.
Clothing Printing
Screen Printing on Clothing
Screen printing is a classic and popular method for printing on clothing items such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and caps. The process begins with creating a digital design that is transferred onto a stencil, also known as a screen. The screen is then stretched onto a frame, and the ink is printed onto the garment through the openings in the stencil. This technique is known for its durability, vibrant colors, and suitability for large print runs.
DTG (Direct-to-Garment)
This method uses inkjet printers to print directly onto garments. It is ideal for detailed designs and photos, and can be used on both light and dark fabrics. DTG is particularly well-suited for small to medium-sized runs.
DTF (Direct to Film)
With this technique, the design is first printed onto a special film and then transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. DTF is perfect for applying designs to both light and dark fabrics, and offers possibilities for decorative effects such as glitter or metallic finishes.
Embroidery on Clothing
Embroidery is another high-quality method for personalizing clothing. With this technique, your logo or design is stitched onto the garment with thread, creating a durable and stylish look. Embroidery is ideal for customizing polo shirts, jackets, bags, and caps, and gives your brand a professional and elegant appearance.
